National Environmental Education Foundation with your cooperating associations, friends groups, and other non-profit 501 (c)(3) partners. They may be eligible for up to $5000 in grant money to complete projects on Corps lakes. Grant applications are due January 13.

This memorandum was signed 3 August 2004 asking for your assistance in promoting the President's Initiative for a Healthier US. As part of this program, Tourism Works for America has volunteered to produce bookmarks promoting this initiative. Districts and field staffs can hand out the bookmarks at boat shows, campgrounds, day use areas, at project offices, etc. There are NO costs associated with the bookmarks. Tourism Works for America is producing the bookmarks for us as a free in-kind contribution. The best thing about the bookmark design is that it is timeless so it can be used year-round. USACE has been furnished 27,500 bookmarks. If your district/office is interested in receiving bookmarks, please provide Don Dunwoody, NWD, the number of packages you want delivered to your office with your mailing address. They will be sent to you in the next two weeks.
