Handshake Partnership Program FY14 Applications Suspense: 1 October 2013
Attached memorandum announces a call for proposals for the FY14 Handshake Partnership Program. This highly successful program, now in its 11th year, provides an additional source of funding (seed money) of up to $30,000 per partnership project. These funds can be used to support both recreation and environmental stewardship partnerships.

To facilitate your efforts, this memo and the application package will be posted to the NRM Gateway at http://corpslakes.usace.army.mil/employees/handshake/agreements.cfm. There you will also find examples of previous application packages and agreements which should be helpful. In addition, we will conduct a Handshake Partnership webinar on 9 July and another on 10 September. Call-in/Web meeting information will be provided at a later date.

Please support and encourage participation in this program. We hope to receive a diversity of applications representing a broad range of projects.
