Announcement of USACE Partnership Award
I am very pleased to announce the winner of the 2014 Corps of Engineers Excellence in Partnership (EIP) Award. The contributions of these groups and individuals are outstanding examples of advancing our Strategic Plan to sustain collaboration and partnering while leveraging resources to meet national objectives.

Excellence in Partnerships Award:

Roanoke River Basin Association - Upper Reach, John H. Kerr Reservoir (SAW) was chosen as the recipient of the 2014 EIP award based on their efforts to provide ecotourism, recreational therapy, and environmental education throughout the Roanoke River Basin. Their innovative, universally accessible canoe and kayak launch project has created recreational opportunities that empower communities to connect with the outdoors through waterways.
