Excellence In Partnerships 2012 Award Announcement
This memo announces the 2012 Excellence in Partnerships Award winner. The 2012 national winner is the Our Lands and Waters Foundation (OLWF). The OLWF works with the Southwestern Division and Fort Worth District in cooperative management of campgrounds, innovative recreational and educational programs, support for water safety programs and has provided programs of over $1 million in support of the Corps. 2. This award recognizes outstanding contributions by a partner to the Corps Recreation and/or Environmental Stewardship programs. The OLWF will be recognized and receive their award at the Association of Partners for Public Lands conference in March 2013 in Portland, OR. This year's award is co- sponsored by the Corps of Engineers Natural Resources Foundation (CNREF). 3. Division award nominees which also deserve recognition are the Outdoor Dream Foundation (SAD), Lake Ouachita Citizen Focus Committee (MVD), Friends of Rough River Lake (LRD), Tioga County Partnership for Community Health (NAD), and Upper Rogue Watershed Association (NWD).

The value of partnerships to leverage financial and human resources in the management of our recreation and environmental stewardship programs continues to grow, and with them, our abilities to serve the public are sustained.
