National Public Lands Day Free Day Use Sept 26
The attached memorandum announces that on 26 September 2015, all day use fees for visitors to Corps-managed recreation areas will be waived for National Public Lands Day. This annual event showcases our nation's public lands and encourages the public to volunteer their time to help care for these lands. This will be the third year that the Corps will participate in a Fee-Free Day in partnership with other Federal land management agencies. In addition, the memorandum provides guidelines for issuing and accounting of a "fee-free" coupon which is valid at any participating Federal agency park, forest, or recreation area that charges entrance or day use fees.
