    MOA USACE-USDA APHIS
I am happy to share the attached Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Services (USDA-APHIS) and USACE signed by Mr. Alvin Lee, Director of Civil Works on 30 September 2021.

This MOA serves as the agreement between our agencies for the provision of APHIS-WS goods and services to manage damage caused by indigenous, non- native or feral vertebrates on USACE managed lands and waters. APHIS-WS is the lead agency for wildlife damage management activities and is uniquely experienced with large scale projects on public lands.

A copy of this agreement will be posted to the NRM Gateway. Additionally, a webinar co-hosted by USDA-APHIS to present additional information on this agreement has been arranged for November 23, 2021 at 1:00pm EST. A calendar invitation for your convenience is attached.

The point of contact for this agreement is Mr. Jeremy Crossland, Program Manager for Land Use and Natural Resources, Jeremy.M.Crossland@usace.army.mil. Ms. Tara Whitsel is currently acting Program Manager for Land Use through January and can be reached at tara.j.whitsel@usace.army.mil
