National Kids to Parks Day School Contest Promotion - Suspense: 14 February 2017
This upcoming New Year means another year for National Kids to Parks Day (KTP Day) on Sat. May 20, 2017 and the National Kids to Parks Day School Contest. The National Park Trust website and plans are being updated for this year's activities but they need our help spreading the word about the Kids to Parks Day School Contest which closes February 14, 2017.

The School Contest helps educators engage students with their local parks. This national contest is open to all Title I schools and school groups in the United States (grades preK through 12). Students can submit proposals to fund a KTP event at a Corps project in their community. Is there a service project at one of your parks you need help with? This may provide the opportunity for school groups to come to your lake and help out! NPT will award park scholarships up to $1,000 to winning entries.

More information can be found on their website. https://www.parktrust.org/kids-to-parks/school-contest/
