Volunteer Program Policy Revision Memo - RESENDING
Enclosed is the revised volunteer program policy. This memo rescinds Volunteer Program Policy Letter dated 12 May 2009. The policy revises several provisions of ER 1130-2-500, including those policies related to expenditure of funds for food and beverages for volunteers, allowable clothing items, and appreciation for volunteer work.

Please ensure that this policy gets to field personnel involved with your volunteer programs, as the changes will have some effects on program operations. This policy has been reviewed by HQ RM/Fiscal Management and Office of Counsel. My POC for this is Ms. Heather Burke, 503-808-4313.
