Seeking APPL 2012 presenters - Suspense 1 June 2011
As a follow-up to the message I sent in April, the PAC team has come up with a list of topics that might be really helpful to conference attendees. If you know of anyone that might like to present on one of these particular topics, please encourage them to send their proposal online to APPL by June 1 and copy me on their message. If they can't get to it by June 1, they can send their proposals to Miriam Fleming in SAM.
Suggested topics: 1. How to develop and strengthen a cooperating association 2. Partnership successes and lessons learned 3. Update on Cooperative Association park leases 4. Partnerships associated with the new Recreations Strategy 5. USACE Partnership with Nature Conservancy 6 Data and information management - Showcasing the NRM Gateway 7. Innovative ideas for gathering new partners 8. Examples of partnerships that engage children or seniors 9. Collaboration skills with your partner focusing on communication 10. Lessons learned on how to gracefully end a partnership or cancel an agreement with a cooperating association 11. Overview of National MOUs and examples of successful partnerships with MOU groups
Thank you,
Heather Burke National Partnership Program Manager
