Nomination for the 2017 Chief of Engineers Annual Natural Resources Management Award - Suspense 15 June 2017
Please see the attached memo requesting nominations for the 2017 Chief of Engineers Annual Natural Resources Management Awards. The Natural Resources Management "Employee of the Year" award acknowledges an individual who has done exceptional work in the field of natural resources management during the previous calendar year, 2016. The "Hiram M. Chittenden Award for Interpretive Excellence" acknowledges an individual who has done exceptional work in the interpretive services profession in 2016. Please note the following changes to the 2017 NRM awards program. A new "NRM Employee of the Year" award combines the previous "Recreation", "Stewardship", and "Environmental Compliance" award programs. In addition, the "Project of the Year" award has been discontinued. Please have nominations, as designated in attached memo, submitted by COB 15 June 2017. I realize that this is a short suspense, but we are working against a deadline for recognition of the awardee at the Fall EGM.
