Highlighted Sites for National Public Lands Day 2019- Think your NPLD site is something special?
Apply to be an NPLD 2019 Highlighted Site. You'll receive a sponsorship package worth an estimated $1,500.
$500 Stipend for any supplies, tools or transportation services that are needed for the event. 1 NPLD event tablecloth 1 NPLD event banner 150 NPLD Water Bottles 150 NPLD Sunglasses High-level marketing and communications support
Highlighted sites should exemplify National Public Lands Day's core themes of volunteerism, community engagement, and environmental conservation-and communicate the importance of giving back to public lands to a broad national audience.
Each 2019 NPLD Highlighted Site will be expected to provide NEEF with the following:
High-resolution before and after photos of the event location High-resolution photos of the event, including action shots of volunteers One pre-event article describing the upcoming event One post-event article describing the work that was accomplished during the event Highlights site will also be required to use the NEEF supplied logos, and engage with NEEF through social media
Eligibility Criteria
The event must take place on National Public Lands Day-Saturday September 28, 2019. The event must engage at least 100 volunteers, and should have the capacity to accept even more. The event must include an opening ceremony designed welcome volunteers and kick-off the day. The event must be media accessible.
