Excellence in Interpretation Partnership Award 2008 Recipient
The attached memorandum was signed today announcing The Friends of Lake Sonoma, in the San Francisco District, as the recipient of the 2008 Excellence in Interpretation Partnership Award given in association with our Cooperating Association Program. It is forwarded by e-mail and posted to the NRM Gateway to expedite distribution.

This honor will be presented to the Friends 25 February at the awards ceremony and reception at the Association of Partners for Public Lands annual conference in Denver, Colorado. Our congratulations go out to the Friends and the staff of Lake Sonoma for the great partnership they have developed over the years. This is another excellent example of the Corps engaging and working in collaboration with its local community.
