As a Corps employee, there are multiple benefits available to you, including the Thrift Savings Plan, Federal Employees Health Benefits, Federal Employees Group Life Insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, Federal Employee Dental and Vision Insurance Program, and Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program. Information about these benefits can be found at https://portal.chra.army.mil/abc under the “Resources” tab.
Thrift Savings Plan: The Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) is a retirement savings and investment plan for Federal employees. The retirement income that is received from a TSP account depends on how much the employee and the agency (for FERS employees) have contributed to the TSP account during the employee’s working years, plus the earnings on those contributions. The earlier the contributions start, the more money you could retire with.

Federal Employees Health Benefits: The Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) program is a voluntary group health insurance program to assist employees and their eligible family members with medical expenses for illnesses and accidents.

Federal Employees Group Life Insurance: The Federal Employees’ Group Life Insurance (FEGLI) program is group term life insurance that consists of Basic life insurance coverage and three forms of Optional Insurance.

- Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program: The Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP) is a voluntary, enrollee-pay-all dental and vision program that allows dental and vision insurance to be purchased on a group basis.
- Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program: The Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program (FLTCIP) is a program that provides long term care insurance to help pay for costs of care when enrollees need help with everyday activities or have a severe cognitive impairment.
- Flexible Spending Accounts: The Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAFEDS) is a program that allows eligible employees to pay for eligible out-of-pocket health care and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars.
