The objective of the REC OCA process is to obtain nationally consistent operational condition data of the highest possible quality to identify all current condition states. The end goal is to create a process that is repeatable, defendable, and consistently applied to assess each critical component. Assessment of the operational condition of each asset is a crucial fundamental step to creating an effective risk-informed budget. The Rec OCA process was developed in support and input with the HQ Regional Asset Managers (RAMs).
