  • Balanced Scorecard Institute
Some Corps offices are using Balanced Scorecard. It was developed in the 1990's by Drs. Robert Kaplan and David Norton. BSC is an approach to strategic management that views an organization from four perspectives: learning and growth, business process, customers, and financial. Metrics are established, data is collected and analysis is performed based on these 4 areas on the premise that if you have a suite of measures grouped in this manner, you will see a holistic picture of your organization. Additional key concepts include: feedback loops for business processes, using outcome metrics, and management by fact/hard data.
