Customer Discussion Guides are part of a larger tool box for Corps managers to gather information to better serve our customers better. The Customer Discussion Guide was first developed in 2000 to gather visitor input on recreation modernization initiatives. It was refined and included as a customer service tool in EM 1110-1-400, Recreation Facility and Customer Service Standards, dated 1 November 2004. A second guide was developed in 2004 to gather input on water-based recreation at Corps lakes. Additional guides may be developed as other focus areas are identified.
