General Guidelines for conducting comment card surveys in 2017-2018:
- 2017-2018 is optional year and 2018-2019 will be mandatory year. However, in addition to the mandatory year (2018-2019), Divisions and Districts have the option of making any year mandatory.
- Leftover cards should NOT be used. Survey cards from previous years should be discarded
- Customization of new card images is required before printing. Download and follow the Printing Instructions properly to print the new image files for your 2017-18 comment card survey.
The Comment Card Surveys are to be conducted in a 3-consecutive month survey cycle. This cycle would ideally correspond to the three consecutive months of the highest monthly visitation. The survey cycles are as follows; they are based on the season rather than on the fiscal year or the calendar year:
The procedures will be similar to previous years; however, we have made some changes in the Comment Card Images to accommodate the Guidance from OMB. Please download and print the new image files for your 2017-18 comment card survey. A life jacket logo has been added to the back of the card to help promote water safety. The survey schedule generator has been updated.
The last day to enter data collected as part of the 2017-18 survey year is 30 June 2018. After this date, the 2017-18 data entry tools will be taken offline and the 2018-19 data entry tools will be brought online.
