      Acquisition and Operation of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Technology
        This engineering circular (EC) provides guidance for the acquisition and operation of Unmanned Aircrafts Systems (UAS) within the National Airspace System (NAS) and the current regulatory framework. This circular also provides guidance on the use of UAS by the public or commercial organizations and by other Federal, state and local governments and law enforcement agencies at water resources development projects administered by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). Sections 13 through 15 discuss the use of UAS by non-USACE personnel on USACE managed lands and reporting requirements.
