Interpretive Panel Choices

When planning an interpretive panel, consider:
• Interpretive message (theme, sub-themes)
• Use different levels of text (inviting headline, summary paragraph, details, and captions
• Illustrations or photos should convey or at least support message
• Background, if needed (examples: map, graphics, illustration, photo
• Durability of material (see Sign Material Performance Guide)
• Suitability to the application (indoors or out?, size, shape, viewing distance, ADA compliance? Good contrast? Would another medium work better?
