Story:
Since I have been the Team Leader for NWS NRM programs, I have offered up our NRM Recreation team, in uniform to assist with field programming. For Example Chief Joseph Dam Kids Fishing Weekend, LWSC Lewis and Clark Encampment, Seattle Boat Show,Visitor Assistance and Customer Service support at LWSC during a public demonstration by photographers, also assist projects with celebrations etc. Many of our field Parks have small ranger staffs and need additional uniformed support with special programs and events. This is an on-going opportunity for our parks and programs to request our assistance for additional uniformed staff support, when they need extra personnel. It also keeps us involved at the field level of programming.
