    National Public Lands Day Announcement 25 September - Register by 9 September
    1. 1. National Public Lands Day (NPLD) is an opportunity to showcase our Nations public lands and the importance of protecting natural resources through responsible use and volunteerism on lands managed by Federal agencies. This event, held throughout America and sponsored by the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF), will be on Saturday, 25 September 2010.

    2. Registration is currently ongoing through 9 September for this years NPLD through NEEFs direct online site at: http://www.publiclandsday.org/managers/register_a_site.htm By registering, sites will receive free materials including promotional posters, brochures, fee free coupons, and managers guide.

    Please encourage all of your projects to participate. Keith Hyde, our NRM CAP will be requesting data about the events after Septlet the field know what data we will be asking for after Sepost events. (basically what we asked for last year, which is referenced in paragraph 3).
