Update Status of DD Form 1805 (Violation Notice)
Please see my 27 Sept 05 message regarding the printing of the new DD Form 1805 (Violation Notice). I just contacted the U.S. Army Publishing Directors office for an update.

Following another modification delay, the form is now at the printers and will be available in mid-November.

All other statements in my previous message remain unchanged (i.e. - the existing DD Form 1805 is still authorized until the new form is printed). The delay is a result of modifying the form so that the violator's copy will not contain personal information. Although I had mentioned the size problem of the new form earlier this year, Im not sure if the length of the form has been reduced to match the size of the current form.

I'll continue to keep you posted and will let everyone know when the new form becomes available.
