National Environmental Education Foundation
The National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) provides knowledge to trusted professionals who, with their credibility, amplify messages to national audiences to solve everyday environmental problems. Together, we generate lasting positive change. The Corps partners extensively with NEEF each year for National Public Lands Day (NPLD) events around the county. NPLD is the nation's largest, single-day volunteer event for public lands in the United States, typically held on the last Saturday in September each year. The Corps of Engineers has been one of the largest participants among the federal land management agencies in NPLD over the past few years.
