In this issue, I am excited to announce our first signed Cooperative Joint Management agreement with a non-profit partner, now active at Carters Lake, GA. This milestone is the result of the right vision aligning with new authorities at exactly the right time. Special recognition goes to Allen Earhart, Carters Lake OPM, as well as the supporting district and division staff. This innovative management model may very well set the standard for future USACE recreation delivery.
