Section 132(f) of the EXPLORE Act requires federal agencies to publish an annual report describing visitation at each federal recreation area managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Forest Service, NOAA, or the U.S. Department of the Interior. This report uses methods that are consistent across the participating agencies to list federal recreational units and estimate for FY 2024 how many people visited each unit and how many people participated in eleven recreational activities at these units.
