Data Call For Corps Project Wildlife Viewing Areas. Suspense 12 December 2011
Recently, CECW-CO-N contracted with Watchable Wildlife Incorporated to include our watchable wildlife viewing areas in their web site www.wildlifeviewingareas.com . Why did we do this? 1. Wildlife viewing is one of the largest growing recreational activity in the country. 2. The Watchable Wildlife site offers numerous options and capabilities to query viewing areas and wildlife data 3. Watchable Wildlife will annually update listed Corps wildlife viewing areas at no charge 4. The web site serves as a tool to increase public awareness concerning wildlife viewing opportunities or Corps project lands 5. www.wildlifeviewingareas.com is the number one wildlife viewing site in the world.

To initiate this process I ask that each District fill out a separate sheet for each of its top 3 to 4 Corps project wildlife viewing areas within its District (See attachment). Please submit your data back to me by e-mail NLT COB 12 December 2011. After the 1st of the New Year we will have another round to collect data from the remaining Corps project wildlife viewing areas. We appreciate your help, support, and your efforts to provide data to the public concerning wildlife viewing opportunities on Corps project lands.

    Sincerely, Tim
