21st Century Conservation Service Corps Advisory Committee
Please note the Federal Register Notice for the FACA committee for the 21st Century Conservation Service Corps Advisory Committee (21CSC). Establishment and call for nominations for the 21st Century Conservation Service Corps Advisory Committee (21CSC), a new committee to be formed in response to recommendations in the report to the President on "America's Great Outdoors: A Promise to Future Generations." The Committee will operate under the provisions of the FACA and will report to the Secretary of the Interior through the Office of Youth in the Great Outdoors. The Office of Youth in the Great Outdoors will provide administrative and logistical support to the Committee.

A link to the Federal Register notice published today (July 1, 2011) and summary of the notice are provided below (PDF is also attached since there were some problems with the link earlier). Please note that nominations to serve on the committee will be accepted until Monday, August 1, 2011. Please forward the Federal Register Notice to anyone you think might be interested and qualified to serve on the Committee.
