Visitor Assistance Program Management Survey - Suspense 4 March 2011
MSC NRM Chiefs, District OPS/NRM Chiefs and Operations Project Managers --

Attached is a memo I signed today regarding the just-released Visitor Assistance Program Management Survey. This is the 2nd phase of our assessment of the overall health of our Visitor Assistance Program - the first being the Park Ranger/Visitor Safety Survey that we conducted last August. Please take this opportunity to complete this short survey, because we need your feedback based on your valued experience in overseeing, administering and/or managing the VA program. This action, along with last year's Ranger Survey, takes a large step toward re-assessing the current status of our Visitor Assistance Program and the safety of our team members who are responsible for the VA program.

Request that all MSC NRM Chiefs/POCs, district Chiefs of Operations/NRM/Technical Support Branches and their district VA Program POCs, as well as all Operations Project Managers and lake or lock level NRM managers complete this survey at http://corpslakes.usace.army.mil/employees/visitassist/survey.cfm by 4 March 2011. Please forward this message to your District Visitor Assistance Program POCs and Lake/Lock level Managers as applicable.
