Corps Park Ranger/Visitor Safety Survey Deadline Has Been Extended To 12 September
This message officially extends the Park Ranger/Visitor Safety Survey deadline to the close of business on Sunday, 12 September. We realize that as we approach our last major recreation season holiday, many NRM team members are scrambling to get things ready for the weekend and/or taking days off this week so they can work the holiday weekend. This extension through the weekend after Labor Day gives additional time to complete the survey for those working weekends who may also be off during the weekdays immediately following the holiday.

To date, we have a 51% response rate to the survey, and I thank each of you who have personally taken the survey and/or encouraged others to respond to their invitation. I strongly encourage the remaining 1000 or so individuals who have not yet responded to please consider taking the survey as soon as possible. Anyone who meets the criteria of "current project-level OPM, NRM/Park Manager, and Park Ranger" who has not received their survey should contact the Corps POC via Outlook email message (Bonnie.F.Bryson@usace.army.mil). Any technical issues with the survey should be reported to Dr. Charles Nelson at Michigan State University at nelsonc@msu.edu.
