All Park Ranger/Visitor Safety Surveys Have Been Sent - Surveys Due 3 Sept
The invitations to the online Park Ranger/Visitor Safety Survey have been issued by email, and I personally want to thank all 650 park rangers and field-level managers who have completed the survey as of Wednesday evening. I also strongly encourage the remaining 1,400+ who have not yet done so to respond to the survey as soon as possible, and certainly not later than the ending date of 3 September. We want their voice to be included in the final results.

Some FAQs about the survey have been added to the NRM Gateway, and can be viewed at this location: http://corpslakes.usace.army.mil/rangers/survey.cfm

One point I'd like to emphasize is that each survey invitation is sent to an individual email address and can only be used once. Invitations should not be forwarded to another person.

We want no ranger left behind on the survey distribution. We gave our temporary rangers an opportunity to provide alternate email addresses to receive the survey invitation if they would be leaving before the survey began, or if they had not been issued a CAC card and therefore did not have Corps computer access. In the rare situations where a temporary ranger does not have access to either a Corps or personal email account to receive and respond to the survey, their supervisor should send an email (via Outlook to Bonnie.F.Bryson@usace.army.mil) to work out other arrangements.

Thank you for your support of the survey. I look forward to studying the analysis of the results and final report that will assist us in improving our Visitor Assistance Program.

    Best Regards,
    Mike
