Take Pride in America: Update & Award Nominations
Take Pride in America announced the launching of a newly redesigned website: www.takepride.gov. Along with a new website, you can now follow Take Pride in America on Twitter. http://twitter.com/TakePridedotGov.

Nominations are now being accepted for the Take Pride in America annual national awards. You may submit nominations for an outstanding public lands volunteer, group, or event by 7 May 2010. Winners will be recognized at a ceremony in Washington D.C. this summer. For more information: www.takepride.gov/honors.html.

The nominations for volunteers, groups or events are a separate process from the Take Pride in America Federal Land Manager Award to recognize a Corps team member. The Federal Land Manager nominations should go through Corps channels, one nomination per division, and is due by 30 April 2010, per the 24 March 2010 memo
