Use Fees
The communications strategy mentioned in the memorandum will be completed shortly - within the week, I hope - and will be posted on the NRM Gateway at https://corpslakes.erdc.dren.mil/employees/usefees/policy.html for your information. Initial press releases are scheduled for 15 November, which is shortly after the November elections. Public information activities about fee increases for next year should not be initiated until that date.

I would also like to advise you that the 2003 annual day use passes have been received at the Corps Publications Depot. The passes are currently being distributed to the districts in the numbers you requested earlier this year. The passes do have a slit in the backing this year for ease of backing removal. Please note these passes will be sold at the higher fee of $30 per pass and $15 for duplicate pass. Please do not sell any of these passes until 15 November for the reason noted above.
