Recreation Day Use Fee Waiver, 01 through 09 August 2009
1. Please see the attached signed memorandum from Steven L. Stockton, P.E., Director of Civil Works. This memorandum establishes a waiver of all day use fees normally charged at our recreation areas during the week of 01 - 09 August 2009. Waiver encompasses only day use fees for swimming beaches and boat ramps. Fees for camping, specialized facilities such as picnic shelters and for other special use/events will not be waived. FAQ's are included with the memorandum.

2. HQ PAO is preparing a news release for distribution to District PAO's. News release to be posted when available. Operations Project Management staff should coordinate with their respective PAO's in developing a localized news release.

3. Downloadable posters (formats 8.5" x 11" and 8.5" x 14") are available on the Gateway. Please print and distribute locally as needed.
