New Interpretive Services PROSPECT Course Being Offered
TO: OPERATIONS AND NATURAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT MSC/DISTRICT OFFICES; DISTRICT INTERPRETIVE SERVICES COORDINATORS AND OPERATIONS PROJECT MANAGERS SUBJECT: INTERPRETIVE SERVICES FOR MANAGERS, SUPERVISORS AND TEAM LEADERS PROSPECT COURSE
1. I'm very pleased to announce that a new PROSPECT training course, "Interpretive Services for Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders" will be offered in June 2010. Huntsville is currently conducting its annual course survey for FY10 and I encourage anyone who manages or oversees the Interpretive Services/Outreach program at the MSC, District or project level to consider registering for the inaugural course.
2. Course instructors Pat Barry and Nancy Rogers have done a great job in developing the new course which will have the primary objective of how to use the Interpretive Services program to help support project management objectives in all business lines. Effective public communication and outreach will become even more critical to the Corps and the NRM program in the years to come.
3. Pat has written the following statement that further describes the new course. I hope to see you next June at the first class. If you are interested, please complete the PROSPECT Survey that is being circulated now through 15 June.
