Take Pride in America Federal Land Manager Award - Suspense: 22 April 2009
The Deputy Commanding General for Civil and Emergency Operations signed the memorandum on 6 March 2009 requesting nominations for the Take Pride in America Federal Land Manager Award. It is being sent by email to expedite distribution and will be posted on the NRM Gateway. This award is presented annually to recognize an outstanding individual who invites, supports and recognizes volunteers and partnerships to protect natural, cultural and historic resources, provide recreation opportunities, and maintain recreation facilities. The award winner will be recognized during the Take Pride in America National Awards Ceremonies, scheduled for 16 July 2009 in Washington, D.C.
