Day Use Fee Waived on Veterans Day, 11 November 2008
Signed 10 October 2008 memorandum from Steven L. Stockton, P.E., Director of Civil Works. This memorandum reiterates the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Fee Free Day on Veterans Day, 11 November 2008. Accordingly, all day use fees for veterans, active duty service members and their families visiting Corps-managed recreation areas will be waived on Veterans Day.

2. Please note that the memo dated 31 July 2008, SUBJECT: Recreation Day Use Fee and Camping Fee Waiver for Active Service Personnel in Support of Global War on Terror remains in full effect, copy enclosed.

3. News release (Release No. PA-08-11) will be distributed by HQ PAO to Division and District PAO's. Operations Project Management staff should coordinate with their respective PAO's in developing a localized news release.
