National Youth Marine Alliance's "Preserve America's Waterways" Initiative
Jim Hannon, Acting Chief of Operations, has signed the memorandum announcing the new Preserve America's Waterways initiative - a nationwide volunteer conservation-work program under the National Youth Marine Alliance.

Operations Project Managers are encouraged to identify potential service project work sites that individual youth organizations can "adopt" and perform the needed work under the Corps Volunteer Program. Additional details are included in the memo and the three enclosures.
