Natural Resource SME's for GIS Data Standards Activity
As part of reengineering the SDSFIE, in coordination with the Services, we are going through the content of the standards in a series of data modeling activities. The next one will be the Natural Resources discipline under the Environmental business area. Please see attached slides and description below. I would like to identify 1 person per Division to participate at a subject matter expert (SME) in this data modeling activity. As with the data modeling initiatives, we work to minimize the impact on the SME's time. Time commitments include 1) participation in a 1 - 2 hour web kick-off meeting, 2) participation in a 2 - 3 day workshop (either in person in DC area or over the web) and 3) participation in 1 - 2 hour web meeting wrap-up session.
