Draft Non Recreational Outgrant Policy- Request for Review and Comment - Suspense 1 August 2008
Above for your review and comment is the Draft Non-Recreational Outgrant Development Policy. Review comments must be submitted no later than close of business 1 August 2008. Similar to the Recreational Outgrant Policy issued in December of 2005, the focus is on developing Nationwide criteria to evaluate proposals in a consistent manner across the Corps of Engineers.

To accommodate and accelerate the review process for NRM, ERDC is in the process of setting up a site on the Gateway to post your comments. The site will be available on 11 July 2008. You will need to go to http://corpslakes.usace.army.mil/employees/learning.cfm

Under the "Dialogue" heading you will look for the link entitled "non-recreational land use review comments." The first page will ask for some general information concerning your office acronym, your e-mail, and your experience with the frequency of request for non-recreational (e.g. utility easements, roads, etc) outgrants at your project, District, Division. The second page will provide a list of headings that correspond to the sections of the policy and the enclosures. Click on the section on which you want to make comments. A 3rd page will appear for you to enter your comments. Once your comments are entered click on the next button and the system will take you back to the list of headings on the second page to select another heading if you have additional comments. When finished click on "end comments" on the second page to complete your review.
