National Public Lands Day
One very very important note..The date for National Public Lands Day has changed to September 20th, 2003. The former date was in the middle of Rosh Hashanah. We regret that we did not see this before. Please make a note of this very important change.
Greetings from National Public Lands Day HQ!! We are very excited to work off of our success from last year and make NPLD 2003 the best yet. Last year, we estimated that over 70,000 volunteers participated at 426 NPLD sites in all 50 states. Work projects included everything from clearing invasive species to graffiti removal. Copies of the Winter Newsletter have been sent. If you did not receive one in the mail, download it in pdf format here: http://www.npld.com/Newsletter2003wint.PDF.
Make sure you get your registration forms for NPLD 2003 back to us soon so you can have the early lead on updates and materials. You can download a copy here: http://www.npld.com/regform.PDF.
If you need a copy sent to you another way please contact Monika Gorzelanska at gorzelanska@neetf.org or 202-261-6461.
