NRM Park Ranger CoP Advisory Board Memo

1. The NRM Park Ranger CoP Advisory Board memorandum (asking for nominations to the Board) was sent on 3 October with a suspense date of 26 October. Since that time, we have received several calls regarding "what is needed for the nomination".

2. There is no set format. However, in discussions with Charlie Burger, a one page description of the nominee's experience and training in the various Recreation and Environmental Stewardship activities (including natural/cultural resources management, recreation planning/program management, visitor assistance, public safety, volunteers, partnerships, stewardship, interpretation/outreach, team building and teamwork) will be helpful. Nominees should also be visionaries, self-motivated and proponents of change.

3. Please make sure you nominations address the above information. Those of you who have already submitted nominations may modify them accordingly (as necessary).
