CLARIFICATION FOR THE SUBJECT: Integrating Corps Visitor Centers Into FY09 Rec-BEST Performance-Based Budget - A Self Classification Exercise
1. Please reference the 20 February 2007 e-mail message, subject same as above. It has come to our attention that clarification is necessary in regards to the instructions for this Visitor Center Self-Classification exercise.

2. In Appendix A of the attached CECW-CO memorandum, the definition of a Visitor Center states, "Visitor Centers are defined as a Project Site Area in OMBIL and may have associated amenities that are related to the interpretive experience".

3. Please note that Visitor Centers ARE NOT currently listed as Project Site Areas in OMBIL and they SHOULD NOT be changed in OMBIL as part of this exercise at this time.

4. The Self-Classification Worksheet must be completed for all Visitor Centers AND Information Centers listed on the spreadsheet or in OMBIL. The spreadsheet should already include all of the facilities, but if your Visitor Center or Information Center was not listed, please fill it in at the bottom of the spreadsheet and submit. Negative responses are required.
