National Public Lands Day and Day Use Fee-Free Day
As in past years, and in conjunction with our sister federal agencies, the Corps of Engineers will participate in the recreation Fee-Free Day on National Public Lands Day, 30 September 2006.

Accordingly, all day use fees for visitors to Corps-managed recreation areas will be waived on 30 September. Fees for camping and camping related services will not be waived. Neither will fees for specialized facilities, such as picnic shelters, be waived. State, local and other managing entities of recreation areas located on Corps lands are encouraged, but are not required to comply with this waiver of fees in the areas they manage.
