USACE Take Pride in America Federal Land Manager 2006 Recipient
K. Dewayne Shouse, park ranger at Buckhorn Lake in LRL, is the USACE recipient of the TPIA Federal Land Manager Award. Our congratulations to him and to all the nominees who have made our volunteer program a model of success. In 2005, Corps volunteers worked 1,289,000 hours, worth $22 million of service. This is not possible without the concerted efforts of our volunteer coordinators.
