OMB Approved Surveys Annual Report - Suspense 1 November 2005
In accordance with paragraph 4 of the OMB approval transmittal memorandum (http://www.iwr.usace.army.mil/iwr/omb/pdf/TRANS2003Final.pdf), an annual report of public surveys conducted in accordance with current OMB approval authority must be submitted to HQUSACE by 1 November of each year. A description of the information to be submitted is provided in paragraph 4 of the referenced memorandum. Please review the memo to assure you provide all the needed information. In addition, an estimate of the number of burden hours of surveys expected in the coming FY (FY06) must be submitted.

Please provide MSC consolidated reports to CECW-CO, by 1 November 2005. Negative reports are required if no surveys were conducted during FY 05 and if none are planned for FY 06. This includes any public surveys conducted in accordance with current OMB approval authority, not just customer comment card surveys.

I have just been reminded by Scott Jackson that the reporting for Customer Comment Card surveys can be done nationwide now. Accordingly, Scott will provide the necessary report information for those surveys. You will only need to provide report information for any OMB approved surveys you did - other than Customer Comment Cards - in FY 05 or that you plan to do in FY 06.
