Handshake Program 2006 Annoucement
The Chief of Operations signed the attached memorandum 30 September 2005 announcing the Handshake Program 2006 that provides an incentive to Corps projects to utilize partnering initiatives to their fullest potential. This program is in its third year and offers an additional funding source (i.e., seed money) to Corps installations for worthwhile challenge partnership projects. It is forwarded by e-mail and posted to the NRM Gateway to expedite distribution. Hard copies will be sent through regular mail channels.
The process will be electronic this year with the application and instructions on the Gateway. Applications must be received by Jeff Boutwell, SWT, Partnership PDT program manager, NLT 31 October 2005.
