E-mails and Memos

    March 1, 2005
Biennial USACE Environmental and Natural Resources Conference and Operations Project Managers Seminar
I am sure that most of you have seen a memo Mike White recently co-signed with Pat Rivers and Don Basham to your commanders encouraging attendance in the subject conference. The Environmental and Natural Resources Conference will be held 2-5 May 2005 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel-Union Station in St. Louis, Missouri. The Operations Project Managers Seminar will immediately follow it on 5-6 May at the same location.

For the Natural Resources Community of Practice, we have allocated 200 spaces for NRM people to attend the conference. Please see the attached allocation sheet for specifics.

Space Allocations for the 2005 Natural Resources Management Portion of the Conference

These allocations do not include speakers, those attending the OPM seminar, or representatives from the host district (St. Louis). This is our first CoP meeting since the reorganization of the Corps and I believe it is important for us to use all our allocations. If you find that your organization will be unable to use all of your allocations, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can make them available to others.

Here is Mr. White's recent memo (which he signed today) regarding the OPM Seminar that will immediately follow the ENR Conference.

Conference and seminar registration and hotel lodging information is available on-line at the St. Louis District's website http://www.mvs.usace.army.mil or at http://www.implanners.com/ENR/

I encourage you to register as soon as possible.

    George E. Tabb, Jr.
