Golden Passport Program
You may have heard that the National Park Service has new legislation that will eliminate their use of the Golden Passport Program. They will not be implementing this change in 2005, however, because of necessary start-up planning and activities. Our HQs Office of Counsel is currently analyzing the new fee legislation to determine how it might or might not impact our program.

You probably also know that the NPS coordinates the ordering of Golden Passport materials for all agencies. Because they will still be using the Passports in 2005, the NPS has initiated this year's order for materials with GPO. Once again, we will be riding their order to meet our needs. These materials are stocked at the OCE Publications Depot for you to order as needed.
