2005 Legends Award nomination request - Suspense 15 April 2005
The Chief of Operations signed the attached memorandum 8 February announcing the 2005 Legends Award nomination request. This prestigious award is presented annually to recognize an outstanding individual for his/her significant contributions to the enhancement of outdoor recreation resources, facilities and experiences on the nation's public lands. The award winner will be recognized during Great Outdoors Week (6-10 June 2005) at a special luncheon ceremony in Washington, D.C. where the award will be presented.
