Revised Recreation Use Fee Policy - Annual Day Use Pass
We finally have an estimated delivery date for the 2005 annual passes, which is mid-March. This was a more complicated procurement with the various stickers and the hangtag, and the procurement had to be split between vendors who could provide the best service for each component. This was an unexpected eventuality, that has delayed delivery beyond expectations.

The guidance below should be followed until the 2005 passes are received. Our customers who buy daily passes instead of annual passes are not affected. Our customers who bought an annual pass in 2004 can use it until the 2005 passes are received. The 2005 pass will be valid for a full 12 months following purchase, so they are getting several essentially "free" months of use. The only customers who will be adversely affected are those who didn't buy a 2004 annual pass and wish to buy one in 2005. While this is a relatively small percent of our total customer base, we have at least inconvenienced them and should be mindful of that. I know you will provide the best customer service possible to these customers, while maintaining fiscal accountability.

Thank you again for your patience. I will advise you when I have another update.

    Thank you,
    Judy Rice
